Asalamu’alaykum and apologies for the delayed posting of new content. Alhamdulillah by Allah’s mercy we have been busy with the sales of our book and answering parents and caregivers with their concerns. Inshallah we intend to make more of an online presence. My dear Muslim community open your Quran – there are gems to be had with each verse you recite but they won’t be presented to you until you open the book first! . .

The problem with today’s world is we want quick fixes to our ever evolving problems. The Quran doesn’t work like that. The Quran requires you to dedicate your time, energy and concentration. . .

Don’t be in such a hurry to find a verse that relates to you, be patient, read slowly with pure devotion and watch the verses jump out to you. Read slowly, pronouncing each letter and watch the verses cure you from your problems, for verily Allah’s words heal.

‎وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ

And We send down of the Qur’an that which is healing and mercy for the believers…
Surah Isra Verse 82 . .

Take your time, the most you will spend daily with the book of Allah will most definitely be less than your normal day to day chores (unless you are memorising the book then time is dedivated differently). Thus, if the moment you spend with the Quran is less than an hour from your 24 hours then spend time creating memories, read with a melody – copy a Qari (professional Quran reciter) and make your sound beautiful

Create routine in your homes just like you create morning and evening routines for your children. Learn to read aloud in your homes so your children copy, these little people need to see you their only rle model when they are home – children like to copy so give them something great to copy. Establish a culture of daily recitation .. make it your daily intention to have Quran read, listened to or recited. Don’t allow a day to pass without Quran being heard in your house.

Lastly, May Allah allow us to have a beautiful experience with the Quran and leave lasting memories for generations to come Ameen 🖤
