Seek Allah

Asalamu’alaykum

“And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided” (2:186)

Our children are our biggest investment, but can also be a burdensome one. Their Islamic upbringing is of utmost importance. How do we ensure our children’s upbringing are taken care of? Well, before making any plans on paper, we need to seek Allah’s assistance.

Seeking Allahs assistance in everything you do for your kids is vital. Teaching your young child is a hard obstacle to overcome, there is emotions attached to each stage because you are responsible for them and will be judged accordingly. Therefore, stay focused, make a list of what you aim to achieve with your child and what is important for you and your family and lastly but the most important of them all… if your plans for your children is not helping them achieve great success in the akhira then go ditch that plan. Because tomorrow there will be no helper, it will be you and your deeds and what your hands brought forth. Therefore, plan well and always seek Allahs help through duah, Salah, in giving to charity and doing good deeds.  like the father who is mentioned in Surah Kahf.

And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure for them, and their father had been righteous. So your Lord intended that they reach maturity and extract their treasure, as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience.” [Surah Al-Kahf 82]

Every time you get lazy in doing good deeds remember how Allah sent the best two men on earth then, Musa and Al-Khidr عليهما السلام to fix the wall of two orphans. The reason?
“and their father was righteous..”

Plan and plant well so you can make and reap the best crop!
